Ho ho ho, Merry DiSmas!
Whilst listageddon churns along with DiS revealing its favourite albums of the year, as well as things like our most read features and wotnot, it means that it's also time for our annual 12 days of giveaways. Bookmark this page, and keep an eye on facebook.com/drownedinsound and follow @drownedinsound on Twitter for updates.
We will have giveaways from RDIO, Drag City, various artists and other things. PLUS if you enter any of our competitions, you will be entered into a prize draw to win a huge box filled with most of DiS' favourite albums of the year, plus stickers, posters and anything else we can fit in.
All of these competitions close at midday on January 14th (we've extended this date due to delays). You may enter all of the competitions once via DiS, and also once via social media if you fancy upping your chances.

Day 10: NYE
For today's DiSmas giveaway, we have a pair of the hottest tickets in London town for the Ultimate Power vs Guilty Pleasures NYE party.

Day 2: My Bloody Valentine Giveaway
This year, the DiS community held a poll to find out what their collective favourite record was. It came as no big surprise when _Loveless topped the list. Although, perhaps it was helped a little by the fact that the record, as well as Isn't Anything and the EPs & Rarities collection had recently been re-released and re-appraised by the DiS team in great depth. Yesterday, we were thrilled to hear the news that they will return to the stage in 2013 and posted our interview with Debbie Googe.
Today's competition prize then, is a set of the MBV re-issues (pictured below) and to win them, all you need to do is share your predictions of what DiS' top 5 LPs of 2012 will be when we reveal the last part of the list later today.

Day 1: Mute Records Giveaway
Our friends at Mute have provided us with a bounty of vinyl, including Liars new album WIXIW plus their first three albums (They Threw Us In A Trench & Put A Monument On Top, They Were Wrong, So We Drowned and Drum’s Not Dead) also all on vinyl.
