Earlier in the week we found out that the iamamiwhoami videos were NOT Lykke Li, but you knew this already. No great disappointment for fans of the Swedish popstrel, especially given that she's now aired a video for 'Possibility', taken from the Twilight: New Moon soundtrack from last year.
It was recorded last week, in Stockholm as the video does say. Getting a Twin Peaks vibe from the early few shots, and it's about as brooding as it comes. Plenty of reverb, probably even too much of it, as it drowns out even your deepest thoughts.
Here's what LL had to say about it, when posted on her blog:
Here you go, Internet. The first live performance EVER of this song: An homage to an idea lost in the fire. Fortunately for us all, two camera men happened to be lurking in the shadows while me and my band got our groove on for the first time since we recorded it. Why the wait one might think? Well, me as well as other things had to dwell and change shapes for a while but now... Winter became spring. There is hope again!
Also, yesterday was her 24th birthday, so belated happy birthday to her! Hope it was a good one.
