This week's Spotifriday playlist featuring some supreme cuts from the likes of Napoleon IIIrd, Errors, British Sea Power, James Blake, Twin Shadow and much, much more. Well, a little bit more anyway. Click here to listen to it.

1. Errors - 'Beards' (Moon Unit Cover)

Hopefully Errors will make their way towards the top of ours and many more publicationsend of year lists, which are currently being totted up in various bedrooms, lounges and maybe even offices across the country. They are all set to release a remix album of their second full-length, and it includes work from all sorts of luminaries, which includes Moon Unit, as you can hear here. Read our review.

2. Allo, Darlin' - 'My Heart Is A Drummer'

Allo Darlin''s record is a record which is absolutely and 100% full of singles. I mean "singles" in the philosophical sense. This makes it an utterly pleasing album, but also makes it quite hard to actually get through it, because you keep going back to the previous song. They released 'My Hear Is A Drummer' this week and Wendy Roby review it here.

3. My Chemical Romance - 'Mama'

I assume that this song isn't a cover of the Spice Girls track of the same name. I don't know, I haven't listened to it. We interviewed them this week, head over to here. It's hard to stay dirty, apparently.

4. British Sea Power - 'Woman of Aran'

As we have mentioned about a million times over, British Sea Power's Man Of Aran is one of the most criminally underrated albums of the last ten years. That's why we're massively looking forward to their new one, which comes out next year. Click here.

5. James Blake - 'Footnotes'

We've also said that James Blake is absolutely bloody brilliant. Two EPs of much wonderment and also the news that his new album will be released on February 7 next year and will also probably be self-titled.

6. Florrie - 'Call 911' (Beataucue Remix)

Florrie won the Single Of The Week award, as doled out by Wendy Roby. It wasn't for this track, though, it was for 'Summer Nights', which the Robytron described as "This is the shiniest bit of cheeky pop music I have heard since Annie wrote about Geri Halliwell on ‘Me Plus One’. But it is not as good as the backstory to ‘Me Plus One’ because that is AMAZING, seriously do read it, it's unbeatable. ‘Summer Nights’ however, is simpler than that, it is just about having fun."

7. Gorillaz - 'Superfast Jellyfish'

We review Gorillaz Superexpensive gig at The O2 Arena in London this week. It was fairly good. Read it here.

8. Girls - 'Morning Light'

Girls return with an EP next week, following on from their well-rounded debut record. Let's hope it lives up to those standards already set. You can listen to a track from that EP. It's called 'Carolina'. As in 'Oh, Carolina'.

9. Twin Shadow - 'At My Heels'

This sounds very much like the sort of thing that people would say "but it's just good pop!". It kind of is. Not to be confused with Twin Sister, though. Who would in a fight? Who the fuck cares? Anyway, we awarded it 7/10 this week. Fair. Fair.

10. Rihanna - 'Only Girl (In The World)'

This isn't as good as the one that features Eminem, is it? Her new album was reviewed by us this week and, whilst it's not an EXCELLENT verdict, it's not incredibly damning either. Read it here.

11. Napoleon IIIrd - 'Leaving Copenhagen'

I always wondered why Napoleon IIIrd stuck the "rd" on the end of the III. Not that it really matters. In releasing Christiania he has released one of the most ambitious records of recent times. And it tells. This would all mean nothing if he wasn't able to pull the ambition off, though, which he manages. This track exhibits why. Read our review of the album here.
