He's apparently backing Labour MP Nigel Griffiths, who is determined to slap some sense into George W Bush. Bush recently refused to honour his provisional agreement with the Kyoto treaty, the aim of which to unite nations in cutting down the emissions of "greenhouse gases" blamed for global warming.
Albarn said: "I care deeply about the future of our planet and we have to get every country to play a part in cutting greenhouse gasses and other pollution. Nigel's campaign deserves everyone's attention." Griffiths replied: "We are delighted to have Damon's support, which shows the widespread appeal of the campaign and reflects the urgency of the cause of global warming."
