The tour, due to take place in September, is being cancelled due to other commitments. The band issued the following statement:
"Due to scheduling conflicts, financial, and time limitations, Converge has been forced to cancel the short European tour we had scheduled from September 27th to October 4th.
Apologies to all of our European supporters who were looking forward to this appearance. We hope to reschedule the shows as soon as possible. Since we have already scheduled this time for touring, Converge will head out in the U.S. for some exclusive dates."
Rumours abound that the aforementioned "financial limitations" have something to do with the band asking for £800 for their London show at the Mean Fiddler, but that is of course mere speculation.
