The Twist has now been renamed to The Soundhouse and Sean Hudson has been bought in to take charge of the venue. Sean was previously working at the recently closed Army & Navy in Chelmsford and carries behind him a fair bit of experience of the local scene.
The Soundhouse will open it's doors for the first time on Thursday February 13th but the first gig (which is to be Bad Manners) is yet to have it's date confirmed. In addition, Sean has told us that upcoming gigs over the next few months include Funeral For A Friend, The Burn, Violent Delight & Nerf Herder
DiScuss: Is there finally some competition with The Arts Centre for gigs in Colchester? Will the new management cut down heavily on the number of tribute acts that used to play the Twist?
