DiS gets a lot of great videos in our inbox but we tend to cherry-pick the best ones and run them in their own 'news' 'story' and expect you to click around like some sort of ad-revenue-generating node in our network. Well not today, we don't want to waste your time listening to this lushness. Just don't call it a three-way...
St. Vincent 'Cruel'
One of the songs of the year from quite possibly the album of the year (it isn’t out for a few weeks). Think Sufjan trying to beat up a fairground ride. Think dry summer heat and green grass and people throwing bright coloured petals into the breeze. Read Annie Clarke's words about what happened during the making of the video over on the Huffington Post.
Fear of Men 'Ritual Confession'
Whilst you're head is perhaps still giddy from them St Vincent's summery geetars, here's some almost Echobelly-ish, Throwing Muses-tinged, Lemonheadsy, distinctly 90s-scented grunge-pop from Fear of Men (Limited Edition 7" out on Monday).
LOW 'Especially Me'
And rounding off this trilogy of lush lady-brushed highly hummable songs-with-videos is this, from the incredible new album C'Mon and if it doesn't make you quiver in crevices you didn't know you had then you're quite possibly dead.
