Los Campesinos! have had a good year, but we do want something a bit more from them soon, such is our lack of patience. Clues indicate that something IS about to happen or indeed that it has already happened and is just waiting to be unleashed. We hope. Whether it's a record, film or what we haven't a clue. They have been giving clues the last week or so, with the band's Twitter picture being this little beauty...

Yes, that is Missouri, with the initials HR in the middle. With the click of a button we found out what HR stands for (again through the band's Twitter). It's Heat Rash. The band then tweeted a link to this video through their official website. It mostly revolved around making the outline of the border of Missouri in various different scenarios.

I haven't got any idea at all, have you? We'll let you know when we find out, anyway. IS THIS NEWS? UPDATE: It could be a single or video release for 'A Heat Rash In The Shape Of The Show Me State', but that would be a bit lame, wouldn't it? To go to all this trouble...

Well, A Heat Rash in the Shape of the Show-Me State (ie Missouri) was a track on Romance is Boring.
So a belated single/video release of that?
Too obvious?
Is Missouri the Show Me State??
Cos they have a song called Heat Rash in the Shape of the Show Me State.
None of these replys were here when I posted ^that.
I'm not that stupid.
the band have said.
no more singles from RiB. they also don't like live albums, so...
i'm saying similar to whatever you can call WAB, WAD.
Well, it could be...
...but it seems like a lot of effort to go to just for a single release?
They did that not-really-acoustic-versions record recently didn't they?
Looks like it might be a short film or DVD or summat. Have they got a drummer yet?
I'm saying visual album.
like Animal Collective innit.
