Noisy, raucous, lo-fi duo No Age are more - and indeed most - famous for their short, sharp bursts of pop songs but they're starting to branch out a little bit and have now scored a short film. It's all a bit 'ambient noise'. They've also posted an mp3 of their work. They explain so on their blog and below:
"We recently did a score for the short film Aenteni made by Todd Cole for Rodarte. This last Wednesday we did a live version at the Red Cat in Downtown LA. It was a different adaptation of the score, and it was about twice as long. For your listening pleasure here is a download of the performance, ENJOY."
You can get the file by clicking here. It's roughly 16 minutes long and 18MB large. They've also kindly put some snaps up of the production, or rather page-shots. We've also included them, just so you can truly get a feel of whatever's going on.
