TheBoyDeadly by TheBoyDeadly May 19th, 2008

1980s era Butthole Surfers are reuniting for a set of US/UK dates this summer, reports Pitchfork.

What does that mean? It means Jeff Pinkus on bass, Teresa ‘Nervosa’ Taylor and King Coffey both on drums and frontman Gibby Haynes, as well as guitarist Paul Leary if you get tickets for the New York City show.

This line-up hasn’t played together since 1989 – they’ll be joined by these noisy childer.

Dates, then:

June
24 Asbury Park, New Jersey Asbury Lanes
26 Washington, DC 9:30 Club
27 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Electric Factory

July
4 Glasgow ABC1
5 Manchester Academy 2
6 Wolverhampton Wulfrun Hall
26 London Kentish Town Forum
29 New York, New York Webster Hall
