March 9th, The Verge, Kentish Town (020 7267 9452), 8pm - 2am, £5 (£4 concessions) Featuring:
BLUSHER
SLATER
LEAF
Indie Disco 'til 2am
band info: Having picked up glowing reviews for their first single BLUSHER appear at indiecentExposure to promote their second. The sound is sophisticated but not complicated, a shiny and well honed adventure in indiepop with an electronic edge.
SLATER are britpop for 2002, chirpy and cheeky - but thankfully not cheesy. This is their debut London gig, a result of pushing their debut cd single into the hands of iE's promoters.
LEAF know how to write the classic indierock song, fuzzing guitars, skipping lyrics, and a breakneck pace - they return to play iE a second time due to public demand.
