Gnarls Barkley have cancelled a forthcoming visit to the UK due to a family illness.
The duo, comprised of Danger Mouse and Cee-Lo Green, were due to play a sold-out show at 229 on London’s Great Portland Street this Thursday (3 Apr) as well as undertake various promo duties, but vocalist Cee-Lo has “decided at short notice to remain in the States alongside his wife and children, and is thus now unable to travel to the UK as scheduled”.
The 229 gig may yet be postponed or rescheduled, but details are not yet known.
The band’s second album, The Odd Couple, is out today. A review will appear shortly on DrownedinSound.
