Promoters SJM have pulled the remaining six dates in Norwich, Wolverhampton, Leeds, Southampton, Manchester and Folkestone after four cancellations in Cardiff, Leicester, Cambridge, Liverpool were made yesterday.
It comes after two men were shot at a So Solid Crew gig (celebrating So Solid member MC Romeo's 21st birthday) at the London Astoria. One rumour suggested one of the men, loosely associated with So Solid Crew, had inadvertently shot himself while showing off a new gun, mirroring the stupid Oxide and Nutrino self-shooting previously this year.
Comparing the bands to The Sex Pistols, a spokesman for So Solid Crew and Oxide and Neutrino said they were shocked at 'effectively being banned from touring'. "So Solid Crew and Oxide and Neutrino and they have made it clear that they abhor violence" he said, not mentioning the Guilty plea put forward by the So Solid member charged with GBH on a 15 year old earlier this year.
The detective heading up the investigation into the crimes says the inquiry "won't progress any further" as no-one has come forward with information about what they saw.
Now what for London based Gangsta Garage?
