The Prat? Walkmen frontman jailed for hurdygurdiness

It has been disclosed that Hamilton Leithauser, lead singer of popular alternative rock act The Walkmen, was taken into custody last week after a standard dose of hotel disturbances. Having been arrested by the Austin Police Department after 'an incident' at the Crown Plaza Hotel, Leithauser was released the next morning. This suggests the disturbance was not that disturbing.
The man in question admitted dabbling in alcohol before the incident. "I got arrested and spent 12 hours in a jail cell," Leithhauser told gentleman's choice NME.com.
Leithauser's time served in Travis County Jail did not, however, halt The Walkmen's performance at the closing gig for the Don't Mess With Texas showcase at SxSW.
New tracks, presumably for their fourth studio album currently being recorded in Hoboken, were previewed. These included 'I Lost You', 'Red River' and 'Ride Down The Highway'. Whether a track will feature details of the jailing are yet to be revealed.
