London's most sensible sons The Rakes have announced details of their long-awaited second album.
The record, titled Ten New Messages, is out in March and was produced by Jim Abiss (Arctic Monkeys, Editors, Kasabian) and Brendan Lynch (Primal Scream).
Frontman Alan Donohoe said of the follow-up to August '05's Capture/Release:
"The album was inspired by a combination of choral music, the television show 24, Bond theme tunes, World War I poets and the Sugababes."
