Club Goo is go! New club/gig night launched in Cambridge
This week sees the launch of yet another new clubnight in Cambridge, with local scene veterans Greenmind and The Indie Thing teaming up to bring you Club Goo at The Soul Tree.
With Greenmind booking the bands and The Indie Thing crew on DJ-ing duties until 2am, Club Goo aim to put on a selection of the best up-and-coming bands, mixed with some more established names. There’ll also be guest DJs both local and national, and it all sounds like a rather pleasing prospect.
The opening night on Thursday 14th features The Kooks and Dive Dive at a cost of but £5, followed on the 21st by The Boxer Rebellion, Tom Copson and New Year for £6. For tickets, directions and future listings, check out clubgoo.co.uk.

It is indeed! Plus there is also Goonite at the Bufallo bar as well... but that might be a play on the arsenal thing as well as sonic youth!
