Now as much as I love the Moldy Peaches, I don't really see the point of this single. Neither these songs are featured on their self-titled debut album, and I can't really see how this is going to help the Moldys. It’s not likely to gain them new fans and is hardly their best work to date. 'County Fair is a jolly'n'jangly number that creeps in at around a minute and half. The lyrics are largely undetectable, which is a shame as that's where they really shine. Different matter altogether however on flipside 'Rainbows', which provides us with some of the duo's (Or a sextet, as it now seems. Prog Rock, eh?) best one liners to date. Condoms, Jelly, Didgeridoos and numerous crude sexual references all get a mention here, gloriously. A mismatch of at least three songs, it's their most bizarre song to date, yet doesn't have the tuneful genius of 'Anyone Else But You'_ or the bitter thrash of 'NYC's Like A Graveyard'_. But despite all this, I still love 'em.
