'Highly Refined Pirates' gets official UK release

Not heard of Seattle's Minus The Bear? You soon will...

Undergroove will give the band's astonishingly great debut album, 'Highly Refined Pirates', an offical UK release on August 9th. The album was previously available through Seattle's Suicide Squeeze Records. The band features none other than Matt Bayles, producer for the likes of Isis, Mastodon, The Blood Brothers and Botch, alongside ex-Botch man Dave Knudson and ex-members of Sharks Keep Moving and Kill Sadie.

The UK release features two bonus tracks - 'Drop Like It's Hot' and 'You're Some Sort Of Big, Fat, Smart-Bug Aren't You?' - and comes wrapped in re-worked artwork created by Knudson.

Minus The Bear will tour the UK for the first time in October. MinusTheBear.com

Ooh, as their releasing the uk version on undergroove, perhaps they'll have an undergrove band on tour with them? If so, my vote goes to the Murder Of

Re: 'Highly Refined Pirates' gets official UK release

Couldn't agree more....apart from the fact that they are both VERY different bands and therefore, I doubt they could really tour together.

Still.....nice thought.
