so much easier for music hacks to get to on the train from London too
the rest of it isn't as trendy innit
fucking joke.. (says he, having seen EITS and GLC here the last couple weeks.. my point still stands though)

Re: Walkmen: UK Tour

My friends,

Trains are heinous creations, but they will take you where you want to go. I intend to see three of the upcoming shows, none of which are anywhere near me. I will go to the ends of the earth - or anyway, the British mainland - for this band. They are signed to Warners in this country, an atrocious label when it comes to breaking anything non-linear. Their press is done by people who are employed by Warners, an atrocious situation for a band such as The Walkmen to find themselves in. These facts can be extrapolated thus: their career in this country will soon be over. See them while you can.

Re: Walkmen: UK Tour

Anybody saw them at ULU??! wasn't as good as Garage, bloody footie!! found a funny review about that: http://www.chryde.net/blogotheque/blogart_comments/1282_0_5_0_C/
