Spector May Be Innocent After All
Mike_Diver by Mike Diver May 7th, 2004
You know that whole innocent until proven guilty rule? Well, despite the world's collective finger pointing at him after b-movie actress Lana Clarkson was found dead at his house last in February year, Phil Spector might not be guilty of murder after all.

The legendary producer, who recently worked with the UK's arch-miserablists Starsailor, has always maintained that he had no part in Clarkson's death, and that the actress committed suicide. Now a coroner's report backs up his story.

There were traces of gunshot residue on both of Clarkson's hands, and both alcohol and prescription painkillers in her blood, both of which apparently provide good evidence for Spector's claims.

The case is yet to go to court. Starsailor meanwhile are still very much at large.
