More silly goings-on in Courtney Love's La-La-Land of Befuddlement and Self-Absorbtion...

Courtney Love has flashed her tits at David Letterman before going on to twat some poor punter with a mic stand.

The incidents occurred last night (Wednesday March 17th). Love began the evening with an appearance on CNN's 'The Late Show with David Letterman'. During the show, Love repeatedly turned her back to camera and lifted her blouse, exposing herself to fabled chat show host, David Letterman.

Following her 'Late Show...' appearance, Love headed to lower Manhattan's Plaid nightclub for a surprise performance in front of 400 fans. According to a report on CNN.com, "Love hurled a microphone stand into the audience and struck a 24-year-old man in the head." The report says she was unaware of what had happened but was arrested as she left the stage.

Trouble seems to follow Love around. She is currently facing two counts of possession of controlled substances, and battling for custody of her daughter Frances Bean.

well actually i think that people should just stop taking the mick outta her. it was just 'cos she was famous and that her late husband happened to be one of the best people ever in music, that she gets all the insults, it think its unfair, and unless anyone knows her, i don't see how they have the right to judge her. i'm on her side for the minute.

You tedious woman. Ne'eer mind, I'm sure the pro-Courtney camp will come out and defend her Letterman antics (which I saw last night and were utterly childish) as some feminist rock n' roll statement attacking male repressors within a media-based context. Yawn.

And lots of people have the right to judge her. It seems that some people will soon be judging her in a court of law too. I only judge her by her music )so-so) and her increasingly pathetic antics.

So she throws a mike-stand into the crowd - Big Deal. By that logic, that DJ twat from Slipknot should have ben hung, drawn and quatered when he gracefully swan-dived ont othat punter in Dublin, cracking a vertabra (if memory serves me right) - If you go to a gig you should expect some level of danger and the unknown - it's what makes it so damn fun.
And on the subject of Courtney's tits getting an airing, i really can't complain -in fact, i think she should get them out more often. There's just something alluring about a relapsing Barbie Doll.

cracked vertabrae, being twatted by a mic stand, yeah i really love the element of danger at gigs... that's what punters pay their money for isn't it? so they can get hurt. that said i can't remember the last time i went to a gig when a bit of good old fashioned violence broke out.
on the subject of courtney's tits - yeah's got a fair pair alright but i wouldn't have a go on her...

Maybe it's just me - the last violent gig i went to was the Chimaira gig at the Wedge - there were fucking bodies everywhere. I'll make no jokes, i'm not a weed, but that gig scared the shite out of me - sooooooo intense, yet soooooooooooo awesome

Apart from the fact that she's alive, I think she's like a female Sid Vicious... perhaps the most popular punk rock poster-girl, but remembered far more for her style than for anything substantial. If she had died instead of Kurt, perhaps she's be more famous than him, in the way Sid Vicious is almost more of a punk icon than the real genius in the band, John Lydon.
