The Music On The Move.

Evening session current favourites The Music have announced they will play a short tour of the North. Tickets for all shows are £4.00, with the band bringing their own DJ instead of a support act.

The tour runs through July with the dates as follows.

Thu 12th - The Roadhouse, Manchester
Fri 13th - The Adelphi, Hull
Sat 14th - Lomax, Liverpool
Tue 17th - The Casbah, Sheffield
Wed 18th - The Cornerhouse, Middlesbrough
Thu 19th - The Venue, Edinburgh
Fri 20th - Glow 303, Aberdeen
Sat 21st - 13th Note, Glasgow

More dates throughout the rest of the UK are expected to follow at a later date. Prior to the tour, The Music are set to release their debut single 'Take The Long Road And Walk It' / 'The Walls Get Smaller' through Fierce Panda Records on Monday May 21st 2001.

The single, which was recorded in November of last year will be available on 7” only and is strictly limited to 1000 copies. A Session for Lamacq live has been recorded and is expected to be aired to coincide with this release.
