Slipknot's new album, rumoured to be titled either "People = Shit" or "Iowa" has been slated for release on 23 July. Tracks include "People = Shit", "The Heretic Anthem", "New Abortion" and "Disaster Piece".
Says vocalist corey Taylor, ""This album is basically saying to someone: "Here. Sit down in this chair. Make yourself comfortable because I'm about to punch you as hard as I can in the fucking face." This album is uncaged, uncensored and unbridled. We don't care, we're gonna destroy you and there's nothing you can fucking do about it!"
Sean Crahan (the one with the clown mask) says the album is "Heavier, faster, more insane and a little bit more of ourselves."
