Belle & Seb Get Rough With New Stuff

Sep 29th sees the release of a new, currently-untitled single - their first on Rough Trade records. An album will follow on Oct 13th. It's been produced by (the mighty) Trevor Horn, who's been responsible for producing the likes of ABC, Tatu and Frankie Goes To Hollywood... not exactly what you'd expect from Belle & Sebastian...

The week before that, they release their first DVD, which comes out via their old home of Jeepster Records. The DVD is called 'Fans Only' and runs for over 2 hours. It contains all the band's promo videos, lots of TV appearances from around the world, documenatires, an animated discography and "lots more". It covers the band's whole time on Jeepster Recordings.

And if you didn't know already, the band's old labelmates, Snow Patrol, have signed to Polydor and have their third album recorded.
