Danish garage-poppers The Raveonettes set August release date for debut album...
The duo, who first came to public attention for their acclaimed mini-set 'Whip It On' in January, will release its follow-up on August 25th.
Their new album has been titled 'Chain Gang Of Love' and was produced by Richard Gottehrer (Blondie, The Go-Go's, Richard Hell). A single, 'The Great Love Sound' (listen to it here), is tentatively scheduled to follow in early September.
The band have been booked into several major European festivals over the summer. British fans will be able to catch them at The Carling Weekend, where they'll be appearing in Leeds on August 22nd and in Reading on Sunday, 24th.
