Having "dumped" his old band Mclusky and "negotiating a record breaking transfer fee" drummer Mat Harding has decided to take up the stool for Cardiff based sci-fi indie heads Transposer.
First off, Transposer sound nothing at all like Mclusky, but since their first gig in Cardiff’s Barfly in May last year the band have released their debut Greg Haver (MSP/SFA) produced single on the Boobytrap singles club on March 31st 2003 recieving single of the month status in Welsh mag Honk, so don't think Mat's running toward's obscurity here...
With Transposer having just waved goodbye to founder member and drummer Jim Parkin last month (off home to Sheffield to do a masters degree) the band are now currently talking to "many labels" about where to release their stuff next, watch this space...
