Clearlake and Simian play rekkid shop
shadyadie by [redacted] May 21st, 2003
A new chain of record stores called Carbon will see its flagship branch on Carnaby Street, London, 'opened' by two popular indie combos.

Clearlake and Simian are due to play acoustic sets at the shop on July 13th (a Friday, oo-er).

Carbon expect to create a chain of 16 outlets in two years. Brand and business development director Jon Lee told Music Week: "We are aiming at people who love music but aren't knowledgeable... now in their 20s and 30s they have lost touch with what is happening out there."

In the world of Clearlake, they then go out on tour with Grandaddy.

JULY
1st - Manchester, MDH
2nd - Sheffield, Leadmill
3rd - Glasgow, QMU

Simian finish a short tour by playing Nottingham Rescue Rooms on May 23rd.
