Goldie Lookin' for a new label Chain
Mike_Diver by Mike Diver March 7th, 2006

It's widely reported already, but what the f': Goldie Lookin' Chain have been ditched by their big-money label, Atlantic.

The Welsh rappers have shifted only 60,000 copies of their second album, Safe As Fuck, if the tabloid reports are to be believed. The Sun says that the tracksuited comedy-rap act have started a label of their own, Gold Dust.

The band released the following statement:

"We now have artistic freedom to do what we want. We won't be working under any restraints and won't have to tone down the act."

Tone down the act? We weren't aware the group could stoop any lower as they are, givin' it all that 'your mum's got a whatsit' bollocks. Anyway, the GLC will perform at a few festivals this summer, and a number of television and radio projects are on the boil.
