So you're a guy, straight, and someone asks you, "If you had to, y'know, get lively with another man, who'd you pick?" Me, I'm always torn: to go with Johnny Depp or the Purplest Pop Prankster in town, Prince? Hmm... Depp it is, actually.
BUT, the sexy M.F. is to invite perfect strangers into his Paisley Park home in Minneapolis via seven purple tickets hidden in copies of his new album, 3121 (released on March 20th). Yes, a la Mr Willy Wonka. Winners will get to see Prince perform an exclusive concert in the confines of his own home. Cream, get on top already.
Just imagine how small his Umpah Lumpahs must be...

DiS meets Pretty Girls Make Graves
That has the potential...
...to be, like, one of the best competition prizes ever.
Or one of the worst
if he didn't play bat dance.
hmm
one of the best prizes
better then the m.e.n's prize to win dinner with james brown?
ohhh yeah pass the taiters!!!
Paisley Park
Wow. Although, unlike many people's houses, if I remember rightly, Paisley Park has a full production rehearsal sound stage ...i.e a rehearsal room with a stage the size of the NEC's!
The purple tickets is a stroke of pastiche genius.
!
If you worked in a music shop you could check everycopy of the album long before it got to the shop floor...
Ace idea!
I'll ask at my local MVC.
Wait...I don't have a local MVC.
BAAAAALLSSSSSS!
