“this may very well be the name of the boxed set. may i remind everyone....this isnt a compilation of studio tracks like Demolition.............these are records that were SUPPOSED to come out but i was being busy touring or just CHICKEN SHIT because i wasnt aping ddylan hard enough on em or something. which is good, because the pinkhearts might as well be a Replac ements/Pixies tribute album..ive been working round the clock on sequencing and aartwork but you must understand, alot of behind the scenes work goes into this. musical, legal, artisticaal, agreence, .......ALOT OF THESE RECORDS THAT ARE COMING OUT ARE NOT all GREAT but i think they belong out there, considering i cant exactly say that i agree with the greatness factor expressed anywhere anymore............................................ i have to have SEQUENCING and ARTWORK finisshed by Monday Morning. I have an excellent idea for the packaging and whats great is there are gonna be extra things for each pressing including a WEIRD MOVIE with ssongs type thing MAYBE BIG MAYBE dvd not unlike "I am trying to break your Concentration" that movie about chicago art-rock quartet wilco. another idea is to include some tracks for the first couple thousand that i did in sweden that have "dear anne" "oh charles" "madeline" and "for beth" that stuff.............im talking with production companys about setting up three video scenarios- one in a church in new york for stuff llike 'hey there mrs.lovely" and 'born yesterday" and also a live pinkhearts thing semi-live in a club also here in the city. the rest would be some funny in person piss-taking question and answer stuff. I WANT IT TO BE FUN................................THERES ONLY GONNA BE SO MANY OF THESE THIGS BEFORE WE TEAR EM APART AND MAKE 5 RECORDS.......those records wont have the extras. also they wont have the kick ass booklet (Pictures, handbills, a tour scheeddule of every show since heartbreaker with highlights of JUST WHEN WERE ALL THESE SHITTY RECORDS MADE ANYWAYY???????)))..................p.s. 48Hrs./the suicide handbook/the pinkhearts-let it Bminus/saturday night feverblister (Litt sessions)/ and Love is hell.......................R.I.P. the ryan adams story.”
