As previously reported, the band were dropped by their record label somewhat incongruously earlier this year.
While it would be tempting to ask "what took you so long?", those loveable Toploader lads released the following statement via their web-site:
"To all our friends. We have decided to call it a day with Toploader. We just wanted to thank you all for your support over the years, you have been the best fans, and we will miss you all. Cheers, The Band."
