I remember it like it were yesterday: the tears, the sodden tissues, at the news that Mutya Buena was leaving the nation's favourite girl group to look after her wee baby. Selective memory loss has taken care of the need to think about her replacement.
Now, though, Mutya fans have reason to rejoice! The former Sugababes singer (and founding member) has let slip that a solo deal's in the works. Well, she didn't let slip, but some mate of hers told The Mirror:
"Mutya is going solo. She is in talks with Island Records, who look after the Sugababes to post out a solo deal. She is so excited."
