After years of shunning major label advances following his 'SLAVE' days of woe, Prince has once again hopped atop the big boy saddle: his new album, 3121, will see the light of day through Universal.
2004's return-to-form, in critical ears anyway, Musicology had the cheque books waving once more, but few could have predicted that Prince would again sign up with a major player. Maybe he's, y'know, a little skint these days? The first single from 3121, 'Te Amo Corazon', comes with a video directed by Hollywood actress Salma Hayek and features actress Mia Maestro from The Motorcycle Diaries. The video will debut on Prince's own NPG Music Club on December 13th.

if it doesn't compromise his music... and i think he can agree to a contract that allows for that... then go for it. Its all about the Benjamins.
Ha!
You said that! But, like, you actually said it!
Anyway, I'm listening to the Purple One's epic 'Jack U Off' as I read this article. It's a tender moment, which I shall savour.
