Silky-voiced front lady of Rilo Kiley, Jenny Lewis, is to release her solo debut in January 2006.

Rabbit Fur Coat (due 23rd Jan) features gospel singers The Watson Twins, Chandra and Leigh, on backing vocals, and Lewis recruited a wealth of indie talent to play on the record. M.Ward, Ben Gibbard, Conor Oberst and Greg Kurstin all put in appearances.

Lewis wrote most of the album in Los Angeles back in 2004, and song titles include 'Rabbit Fur Coat', 'Run Devil Run', 'Melt Your Heart' and a Traveling Wilburys cover, 'Handle With Care'.

And Blake is like the coolest guitarist ever - I think it's the waistcoats.

I was listening to handle with care by the travelling wilburys last night. I'd forgotten I quite like them.
