Noel blows off, again: British bands are shite
Mike_Diver by Mike Diver November 9th, 2005
Another week, another A-lister taking swipes at those beneath them... or something: Noel G has told an Aussie radio station that British bands are rubbish.

Noel told Triple J that the likes of Franz Ferdinand and the Kaiser Chiefs were shit, and that Bloc Party are the worst of all.

"Don't get me wrong, I kinda like Franz Ferdinand and Kaiser Chiefs, but Bloc Party are just appalling," said the Oasis man. He continued: "None of them strike me as trying to be in the biggest band in the world or the best band in the world - it's just indie rubbish."

He summarised the outifts in question as "indie shit". Nice.
