But, to get this far, having split up the 45s who were just starting to get there Matts had to fight two Northampton DJ's Kevin Ford and Ben Baal-Bowdler, who had the name Aqualung registered. After some legal strife these other guys are now called Loop Theory, under the condition they're allowed to remix the 'Strange And Beautiful' single. So they have. And the singles out next monday on 2 cds and a cassette, preluding the bitter
The debut album, titled 'Aqualung', sounding like a mangle of Nina Simone, smokey jazz, smashing pumpkins acoustica and alsorts of other mellow bliss; released September 30th. Debut UK shows are also in the pipeline and will be confirmed next week.
