Kylie cleared for Christmas homecoming
Mike_Diver by Mike Diver November 7th, 2005
Doctors in Paris have given cancer-troubled singer Kylie Minogue clearance to return to her native Australia for Christmas.

The singer is currently undergoing a course of chemotherapy at the Institute Gustave-Roussy in the French capital, but doctors there say that she will be well enough to travel come the festive season. She was diagnosed with breast cancer back in May.

Minogue's plans had been on hold until she was given the green light to make the 24-hour flight. Now she will be able to spend time with her family, alongside boyfriend Olivier Martinez.

Kylie's sister Dannii told reporters: "It's great. She's doing really well and is getting stronger every day. We're all looking forward to Christmas."
