New Stereophonics Releases
martbean by Martin Mildner January 25th, 2001

Soft rock fans will be pleased to know that the third Stereophonics album is due to be released on April 9th, preceded by a single on March 19th.

The album, 'J.E.E.P. (Just Enough Education to Perform)' was recorded last summer and mixed by Andy Wallace. The tracklisting is as follows: 'Vegas Two Times', 'Lying In The Sun', 'Mr. Writer', 'Step On My Old Size Nines', 'Have A Nice Day', 'Nice To Be Out', 'Watch Them Fly Sunday', 'Everyday I Think Of Money', 'Maybe', 'Caravan Holiday' and 'Rooftop'.

'Mr. Writer' is the first single from the album, and was previewed on Kelly Jones' solo tour last year. It will be available on two CDs and a 7".

Later on in the year, the band headline two racetrack concerts, called 'A Day At The Races'. The first is at Donington Racetrack on July 14th, followed a week later on July 21st at Chepstow Racetrack. Tickets cost £25 from the usual outlets.
