OASIS, Everyone's favourite Mancunian scallywags, will return to the UK before the end of the year, Drowned in Sound can reveal.

The South Wales Echo reveals that they are set to play the Cardiff Millenium Stadium on December 14th, and the notorious rockers are close to signing contracts to play the venue that night.

No rock acts have played there since the Stereophonics played there in summer 2000....and its no surprise that it's expected to be to be a sell-out. Thats a lot of wedge...just multiply the oasis ticket prices by 65,000 and work it out....

Oasis: December Dates Exclusive!

Not that I want to known as a Stereophonics geek, but they actually played at the Millennium Stadium July last year (2001), not 2000. And if I remember rightly they didn't manage anywhere near full capacity (65,000).
