Calexico take a break from working on the follow up to their 'Hot Rail' album by paying a short visit to the UK and Ireland

Since releasing 'Hot Rail' Joey Burns and John Convertino have, amongst other things, continued to work with Giant Sand, remixed Two Lone Swordsmen, contributed a version of Lee Hazlewood’s 'Sundown, Sundown' to the forthcoming tribute album 'Total Lee!', worked with Neko Case on her forthcoming album, collaborated with Amor Belhom Duo and worked on their forthcoming album for City Slang, likely to be released in very early 2003. Phew.

For a few days next Month, Joey and John, inevitably joined by an extended line up of quality musicians, will bring their "legendarily vibrant and atmospheric" live show to the following venues:

Sat 6th - LEICESTER Summer Sundae Festival
Sun 7th - DUBLIN Vicar St
Mon 8th - BRIGHTON Dome - Corn Exchange
