Win $10k to make your "Dream (PC) Setup" with LG's UltraWide Festival
sean by Sean Adams September 18th, 2015

The phrase 'all the gear and no idea' is something you rarely hear in 2015. Now it's more like 'all the ideas, not enough money coming in to get all the gear you need.' LG are well aware that there's a need for processor speed, UltraWide screens, and other-such specialist equipment, so they are are offering musicians, creatives and YouTubers the chance to win the computer of their dreams as part of the LG UltraWide Festival.

Whether you're a designer, blogger, vlogger or rhyme-spittin' mutha', LG could be sponsoring you with a whopping $10,000 (US Dollars) to create your "Dream (PC) Setup".

Not only will three entrants win the money to spend on their dream machine, but at the end of LG's UltraWide Festival in early December, they're throwing a Finale Party and you could be there too! The party will take place in Vancouver where the 3 winning contestants will get advice from the 3 YouTube Star judges at this very special event. Each of three winners will receive an all-inclusive travel package to Vancouver where you will be able to show-off the fruits of their new ‘Dream Setup’ at the event.

Fear not, if you don't win, you may also be one of 30 semi-finalists who will receive a LG UltraWide Curved Monitor (model no. 34UC87C). The screen is great for musicians as you arrange up to 69 audio mixers vertically on a single screen - that's 2.4 times more visual information than a fluid 16:9 FullHD monitor.

HOW TO ENTER

To participate in the UltraWide Festival competition, simply film a video or snap a pic of your current setup and explain why you’d love to get your hands on some new gear to improve it.

Once you are ready, upload that video to YouTube or your social network of choice, and enter by submitting the link via the website ultrawidefestival.com.

Entries close on Sept 25th 2015, so get cracking!

THE JUDGES

Entries will be judged by YouTube’s most popular tech and game stars. Linus Sebastian from LinusTechTips, Lewis Hilsenteger from Unbox Therapy. and Jahova Witniss. They will will be on hand to help applicants become the next big thing in technology or professional vlogging.
