So you may have noticed the Rapture predicted by that crazy American bloke never happened. It hasn't yet happened, at least. Big deal. I personally thought that given the vast coverage given to the non-event that dance-electrico-disco purveyors The Rapture missed a trick with not announcing a new record (even if they hadn't recorded it) but it just turns out they were biding their time, because that's just what they've done. TODAY.
The band confirmed this on their Facebook account earlier today. The post read:
Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to let you all know that we have another album coming out! The album will be coming out September 5th in the UK and September 6th in the US and rest of the world. It is called In The Grace Of Your Love. We recorded it last year with great producer and great friend Zdar in Brooklyn and Paris. Stay tuned for tour dates, tracklisting and a bunch more updates and info.
Love,
The Rapture
So there you go!
