Last week we gave you the Japanese Popstars remix of the Gorillaz track 'On Melancholy Hill'. It was 'an' epic. We also told you about the upcoming video for the single of that name. The band even went so far as releasing a teaser clip for it, but now the real thing is here, finally. God knows how much it cost to make but it looks almost worth every penny.
Watch it below:
In other Gorillaz-related news, comic book (graphic novel?) legend Alan Moore was due to work with the group on an opera. We are now told that this is not happening, as reported on Pitchfork. It was, apparently, something to do with scheduling issues, which is a bit of a pain in honesty. There was also that Japanese Popstars remix we had last week. We still have it, and you can still listen to it below:

Oh wow
I love the whole Gorrilaz story and this is fantastic. But the best bit is surely Mick Jones giving Paul Simonon the spinach LOL
graet !!!!!!!!!!!!!
This song is one of my favorites. It's just amazing.
Popularity comes with a price. Little time to do many of the projects you so love to do. It is a shame that Moore could not pull of his intended opera with this amazing talent.
I think that record
I think that record was great. Kudos to the japanese popstar for making that remix. Now I am really looking forward to buying gorillaz's new album.
