Chrome Hoof have released a few juicy snippets of information regarding their newest album, which is to be called Crush Depth. That's the first snippet, FYI. We don't know the exact release date yet, but we think it'll be released in June. It's not THAT far away if you think about it, and it could be an apt soundtrack to a scorching Summer?
It's their first record since 2007's Pre-Emptive False Rapture which we reviewed here, giving 8/10. Full tracklisting below, but we're hoping all expectations of grooviness are surpassed comprehensively.

Album art is a special piece of work, too. Not sure what it's meant to encapsulate, but it seems to represent 'The Past' as much as it does 'The Future'. Maybe even 'The Past's Interpretation Of The Future'. It's worthy of some award. Somewhere. At some time.
The band (if that's the correct terminology for Chrome Hoof) will also play at this year's Ether Festival, at the Southbank Centre, London. They will be occupying the Queen Elizabeth Hall with their sounds and overbearing presence on Thursday April 22, with support from Health, Zun Zuin Egui and Andrew Weatherall. More info here.
