Recently re-united (or at least, recently announced to reunite) indie rock legends Pavement have partly confirmed what everyone in the UK had been hoping for - that they'll be popping on over to play some shows. Hoo-rah!
Speaking to NME.com, guitarist Scott Kannberg a.k.a Spiral Stairs said:
"There definitely will be [UK gigs]. We're looking at the summer time, but I'm not sure how much touring we'll do."
He added:
"We'll do what we need to do to satisfy our fans and what would be fun, but we're not going to do anything stupid, any big festivals that are really dumb."
So, rack your brains to work out which big festivals are "really dumb" in the UK? Guess it kinda rules out V Festival and maybe some others, but the rest of them, fair game.
Bet you guys who rushed out to buy tickets for the New York shows are WELL GUTTED now! SMACK! Or, you might not be, because...well, Pavement in New York would be say, a hundred times better than Pavement in a muddy Somerset/Berkshire/Scottish field, right?

Don't Look Back or anything along those lines sounds unlikely
