Last-minute Truck additions back into bay 12
JoeDiddly by Luke Slater July 21st, 2009

It is with great regret that we announce that, sometimes, shit does indeed happen. To good people, too. Grammatics and Colour have pulled out of this year's (and indeed, this weekend's) Truck Festival. Boooo! File under "Bad News".

However, sometimes, good stuff happens to good people, too. In their place, the wonderfully organised organisers of Truck have announced the spectacular emo-tinged power-rockers Tubelord and "oh-no-not-another-band-with-crystal-at-the-start-of-their-name-how-am-I-ever-to-cope-with-this" Crystal Fighters will be taking their places on the bill at the last minute. Props to them for that.

So, here's what some of the line-up for Truck 12 looks like:

Ash
Broken Records
Calories
Errors
Fanfarlo
Tubelord
Hjaltalin
Jeremy Warmsley
Pulled Apart By Horses
Supergrass
Sky Larkin
This Town Needs Guns
Thomas Truax
We Were Promised Jetpacks
Wild Beasts
YACHT
Young Husband

And this is what those lords of tubes, Tubelord sound, and look, like. Lovely choppy guitar riffs, some vocal harmonies and HYPER CRESCENDO.

Here's some Crystal Fighters for good measure:

Truck takes place in Steventon, Oxon on July 25 and 26. That's THIS WEEKEND. More information on their official website or follow them on Twitter for updates.
