Megadeth - Dave Sells...but whos buying?
greed by Graham Reed May 8th, 2002
Hoary old 80's thrashers Megadeth who recently split up after founder, singer and guitarist Dave Mustaine was injured, looked like making their split permanent and final and ruling out any possibility of ever getting back together.

With the recent news that millionaire David Mustaine - who lives in a lavish house in Mesa, Arizona, and who once constructed an entire 24 track studio in his own home in order to create an album, before deciding that the album sounded so good no one else should use that studio and promptly demolished it - must be falling on hard times; as evidenced by the fact that he's gonna auction off every single amp, guitar, rackmount, the whole lot!!

Items for sale: (apart from including Dave Mustaine's Jackson V and Double neck V guitars which thousands of teenagers played air guitar imagining they were him back in the good old days) ~ amps ~ rack gear tour cases ~ Marshall 4x12s ~ pedals ~ cables ~ guitar picks ~ Megadeth backstage passes ~ laminates ~ stage backdrops ~ postcards ~ posters ~ keychains ~ pins ~ unreleased photo prints of Dave Mustaine ~ baseball jerseys and teeshirts, and even Sweatbands!

Bloody hell. Sounds like a clearance sale at Megadeth towers. Either we can assume Dave Mustaines fallen on hard time, splurged all his money on drugs n' rock n roll, or....forgot to buy medical insurance. or something. You decide!

But if you want to buy anything, look here
