A Month In Records: February 2005
wow, surprisingly devoid of sarcasm
even though they are ABSOLUTE SHIT
To be fair
watching them play early stuff at T in the Park, I realised they were actually rather good on their first two albums...everything since has been shit though of course.
fair enough,
Word Gets Around - what an album
It's true
The first 2 albums were very good.
Word Gets Around is fantastic.
When I saw them last year, all the old stuff they played blew all the new stuff, bar Dakota, out of the water.
File with Travis
in the "people sometimes forget their debut album was great" category...
I thought the man who
was a really great pop record actually.
excatly
hence why I said I thought it was good and not their debut.
wayne rooney'll
be off to this
ugh
Their records in my memory, were owned by sixth formers that drive peugeot 106's. The same people that go to V Festival and like Muse. Can be seen in the summer wearing Oakley's, shorts and probably a Quicksilver t shirt with a programme.
You've just described my mate Gareth.
I hate getting in a car with him as I'm only guaranteed to hear Audioslave, Incubus or some other crap / past-it rock band.
