Giant Sand to release first album for four years

Howe Gelb-fronted rock outfit Giant Sand are to release their first album in almost four years in September.
Provisions is scheduled for a September 8 release. The Arizona-based band's latest comes your way via Yep Roc, and features a number of guests including M. Ward, Neko Case and Isobel Campbell.
Says Gelb: “Giant Sand is a mood”. Now you know. In the present line-up: Danish musicians Thøger T. Lund (bass), Peter Dombernowsky (drums) and Anders Pedersen (slide guitar).
