Fatboy Slim has himself a new musical project. However, he wants us to think that it’s not his project at all, and instead believe that the tracks set to arrive over the coming months are “rediscovered tapes” from the “legendary” Brighton Port Authority. These are lies. Those rumoured to be involved with BPA so far are Iggy Pop, **Martha Wainwright and Jamie T, as well as **Dizzee Rascal and David Byrne who guest on ‘Toe Jam’.
ToeJam and Earl? Perhaps. Odd things afoot nevertheless in the video for Norman Cook’s latest, which comes on like **Dan Deacon might after suffering a mid-life crisis, locking himself inside his house and taking enough adderall to stave off sleep for the duration of the Carry On… canon.
